About the position

Join Siemens Healthineers as the Global Marketing Director, Head of Atellica Systems Immunoassay Analyzers, where you will play a pivotal role in driving product strategy and innovation that enhances patient care worldwide. This position is centered around end-to-end product ownership, where you will be responsible for the immunoassay instrument strategy, innovation, product launch, go-to-market initiatives, and commercial positioning. You will oversee the Atellica instrumentation, ensuring a holistic solutions approach to product positioning that meets the needs of our diverse customer base. In this role, you will gain deep customer insights to become the Atellica systems expert, targeting key stakeholders such as laboratorians, hospital administration, reference labs, and ministries of health. Your ability to analyze competitive offerings will be crucial in developing effective selling strategies that differentiate our products in a profitable manner. You will synthesize competitive intelligence and market research to create targeted go-to-market strategies and campaigns, complete with detailed competitive playbooks aligned by portfolio. Your expertise will also extend to product definition, where you will ensure that customer requirements and design inputs are effectively communicated to the development team. By leveraging market research and customer feedback, you will guide the development of profitable and differentiated products that meet market demands. This role requires a strategic mindset to assess immunoassay instrument and platform opportunities across various segments and settings, ensuring that Siemens Healthineers remains at the forefront of innovation in healthcare diagnostics.

Responsibilities

  • Drive end-to-end product ownership for immunoassay instruments, including strategy, innovation, product launch, and commercial positioning.
  • Gain deep customer insights to serve as the Atellica systems expert on customer targets, contributing to the overall CLS business strategy.
  • Develop competitive selling strategies by analyzing competitive offerings and providing commercial organizations with positioning tools.
  • Create go-to-market strategies and campaigns with detailed competitive playbooks aligned by portfolio.
  • Ensure appropriate customer requirements and design inputs are crafted to guide the development team for product development.
  • Utilize market research and customer input to ensure profitable and differentiated products are delivered to market.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive marketing and product management experience in varying specialties.
  • Core Lab Diagnostics experience is a must.
  • Experience in sales/commercial, marketing, new product development, and strategic direction development.
  • Strong results orientation and ability to act as a change agent.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, life sciences, engineering, or related technical discipline; MBA preferred.
  • Experience managing direct reports is required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in developing compelling sales messaging and training materials.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and reimbursement insights related to product development.
