About the position

The Global Marketing Director for Mobile Surgery at Philips is responsible for leading the marketing strategy and execution for the Mobile Surgery Business within the IGT Systems division. This role involves defining product roadmaps, go-to-market strategies, and ensuring alignment with customer insights to drive business growth. The director will oversee a team of product managers and clinical application specialists, focusing on upstream marketing activities and lifecycle management of products and solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Global Marketing for the Mobile Surgery Business (MoS) within the IGT Systems.
  • Own portfolio, product, solutions, and claims roadmaps.
  • Define commercial specifications for required products and co-responsible for product realization and market introduction.
  • Formulate upstream marketing strategy for business products, solutions, and partnerships.
  • Collect and analyze market information regarding mid/long-term market developments.
  • Define long-term business strategy including Northstar with inputs from key markets.
  • Translate market developments into future product and solutions plans.
  • Ensure integration of product and solutions plans with other disciplines like R&D and Manufacturing.
  • Create world-class product launch strategies and plans.
  • Drive definition, development, and introduction of products/solutions to meet customer needs.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in a relevant area.
  • Over 15 years of relevant global working experience in Marketing in Healthcare.
  • Strong experience working with global markets and possibly at different locations.
  • Experience within the IGT and surgery domain.
  • Deep understanding of the Mobile Surgery business and strategies.
  • Commercial mindset and strategic thinking skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and influence others.
  • Strong business acumen and skills.
  • Strong people and matrix management skills and experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in cross-business solution development.
  • Familiarity with Health Economics for lead markets.
