About the position

The Global Marketing Program Director, Product & Solutions is responsible for leading the global product marketing efforts at dentsu. This role involves overseeing a team of Global Product Marketing Leads, developing and implementing marketing strategies, and ensuring alignment across various global markets. The director will also engage in market research, manage product lifecycles, and collaborate with product management and sales teams to optimize marketing performance and drive successful product introductions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of three Global Product Marketing Leads, promoting a collaborative culture.
  • Become an expert on advertising and marketing products, understanding features, benefits, customer needs, and industry trends.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive product marketing strategies that align with company goals.
  • Oversee market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes.
  • Guide the team in managing the entire product lifecycle, from brainstorming to launch and post-launch optimization.
  • Work with product management, sales, and regional marketing teams to ensure cohesive marketing efforts.
  • Collaborate with the Integrated Marketing Lead to ensure communication and cohesion across departments and regional teams.
  • Monitor goals to measure the effectiveness of marketing strategies.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to senior leadership.
  • Build relationships with product management team and business leaders.
  • Gather feedback to improve product offerings and marketing strategies.
  • Promote improvement and new ideas within the product marketing function.
  • Manage and allocate marketing budgets, ensuring appropriate use of resources.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in product marketing within the advertising, marketing, or technology sectors.
  • Experience in the advertising and marketing industry, including trends in identity, data, technology, and AI.
  • Experience collaborating with product development and sales teams.
  • Expertise in translating complex technical features into clear customer benefits.
  • Experience interpreting data, producing insights, and optimizing marketing performance.
  • Proficient in using marketing automation, CRM tools, and digital marketing strategies.
