About the position

The State Street Global Markets (SSGM) Data Governance and Corporate Programs Lead is a senior leadership role responsible for the adoption and execution of the Corporate Data Governance Policy within Global Markets. This position serves as the primary contact and project lead for various corporate programs, ensuring that data governance practices are effectively implemented and aligned with business objectives. The role requires collaboration with multiple teams across the organization to enhance operational performance and data quality.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute data programs across the GM business units to ensure key data sources are correct, controlled, and documented.
• Oversee day-to-day Data Governance Operations including assignment of Data Stewards and data quality assessments.
• Execute the Corporate Data program business line requirements in collaboration with Business Risk partners.
• Drive resolution of data, information, and processing challenges impacting operational or business performance.
• Ensure consistent management of corporate programs such as Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) with GM context and risk assessment.
• Provide project management for GM owned resolution plans and corporate program adoption.

Requirements

• Minimum of 12+ years of experience in the Financial Services industry.
• Deep understanding of trading and bank operations and related applications.
• Proven ability to drive multiple initiatives and programs effectively.
• Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
• Prior business operations experience with a successful track record in a large organization.
