Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities trading is a key revenue generating division for Goldman Sachs and Interest Rate Products form a large part of that business. The Interest Rate Products (IRP) Trading & Sales desk assists Goldman Sachs' clients in managing their exposure to interest rate risk by offering a range of financial instruments. This is a critical function for our clients and the firm, and the products offered range from simple government bonds and vanilla Interest Rate Swaps to more exotic structured interest rate derivatives. Engineering is comprised of our Technology Division and Global Strategists groups. Requirements

• 1-4 years of work experience.
• Strong programming skills in one or more languages (Python, Java, C/C++).
• Experience in software development, including a clear understanding of data structures, algorithms, software design and core programming concepts.
• Working knowledge of UNIX.

Responsibilities

• Interact with users to understand business flows and define requirements.
• Implement new software and enhancements to existing systems.
• Contribute to Quality Control (Code/Design reviews).
• Provide L3 application support.
• Provide technical support to trading, sales and operations.
• Review incidents and identify root causes and follow-ups.
