The Master Data Governance Analyst at Doosan Bobcat plays a crucial role in the development and management of master data and its associated processes. This position is responsible for enhancing the quality and safeguarding sensitive data and information assets. As a subject matter expert in master data management, the analyst will support the strategic and operational definition, design, implementation, and continuous innovation of end-to-end master data processes. This includes advocating for alignment across the organization to promote global process harmonization while ensuring that regional needs are addressed appropriately. In this role, the Master Data Governance Analyst will serve as a key support figure for governance, data quality, and protection issues. The analyst will collaborate closely with various regions, business units, functions, and IT departments to enhance the quality and value of core data assets. This includes responding to regulatory protection requirements and supporting the strategic needs of the enterprise. The analyst will also be instrumental in defining data governance and establishing an enterprise master data governance implementation roadmap, which includes setting strategic priorities for the development of master data-centered capabilities. The analyst will champion the enterprise master data management processes by establishing a comprehensive strategy, processes, and governance framework that supports the organization's digital transformation. This involves rolling out a data governance framework focused on improving data quality and protecting sensitive data through the establishment of policies, standards, governance metrics, and data architecture. Additionally, the analyst will support roles and responsibilities related to master data governance, ensuring clear accountability for the stewardship of the company's principal master data assets. As a trusted advisor to leadership, the Master Data Governance Analyst will act as a liaison between business units, functional areas, service lines, major programs, and IT. This role requires the ability to quickly earn the trust of sponsors and key stakeholders while executing tasks with limited information and ambiguity. The analyst will also need to maintain strong relationships with various departments, mobilize and motivate teams, and drive process improvements while delivering difficult messages with grace. Furthermore, the analyst will be responsible for coaching operational and data governance excellence principles, developing problem statements and action plans, and managing complex projects and timelines.
