About the position

The Global Medical Communications Lead (Immunology) is a pivotal role within the Global Scientific Communications team, focusing on the development and execution of medical communications and education plans for dupilumab. This position requires collaboration with various stakeholders, including commercial, regulatory, clinical, and market access teams, to ensure that communication strategies are aligned with scientific exploration and patient needs in the therapeutic areas of dermatology, pulmonology, rhinology, and gastrointestinal diseases.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional medical communication/education planning efforts.
  • Develop scientifically accurate communication points for global and local medical communication.
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality medical communications resources in compliance with guidelines and budgets.
  • Develop global medical education plans based on identified educational gaps.
  • Design and develop educational content for various formats including live programs and digital education.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with KOLs involved in medical education.
  • Forecast annual budgets for medical communications and manage financial reconciliations.
  • Communicate the status of medical communication publication plans to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree in life sciences or pharmaceutical sciences (PhD, PharmD).
  • Experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proven track record in developing scientific communications and medical education.
  • Familiarity with Medical/Legal review committees and content review systems like Veeva/Promomats/4M.
  • Experience in vendor, project timeline, and budget management.
  • Knowledge of industry guidelines for interactions with healthcare providers and digital/medical education.

Nice-to-haves

  • Expertise in Pulmonology, Rhinology, Gastroenterology, and/or Dermatology.
