About the position

Creative Artists Agency (CAA) is seeking an Event Ticketing Coordinator to join the CAA Global Business Services team. This individual will be responsible for supporting CAA's Event Ticketing Program and all related ticketing activities. The ticketing coordinator will require close partnerships within the various stakeholder teams, particularly in Music and Sports, to understand their unique needs. The role involves managing request and reporting tools, communications, partners, and resources with a strong customer experience mindset. The coordinator will actively review and seek opportunities for process improvements and cost savings, ensuring that the ticketing process is efficient and effective. The Event Ticketing Coordinator will become a subject matter expert related to each event venue's online event ticketing platform and portals. They will be responsible for all internal communications in partnership with Corporate Communications to effectively communicate the ticketing benefits companywide. The coordinator will partner with decision-makers within various business units to consolidate request lists and submit them in a timely fashion for review and approvals. Additionally, they will provide after-hours, evening, and weekend support as needed to ensure all ticketing requests are fulfilled as directed. Maintaining records of all tickets distributed and providing monthly reporting related to ticket usage for both business and personal requests will also be key responsibilities. The coordinator will need to understand and manage contract payments for each venue, being aware of contract terms and renewals. They will also fulfill individual ticket buys for clients and employees to home games for the Rams, Chargers, Lakers, Clippers, and Dodgers. This role is crucial in ensuring that all ticketing activities are executed smoothly and that all stakeholders are satisfied with the service provided.

Responsibilities

  • Become a subject matter expert related to each event venue's online event ticketing platform and portals.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of event management and/or ticketing experience at a global company, preferably in entertainment/production.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong organization and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong knowledge of ticketing platforms and distribution tools, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication skills and client relationship management skills.
  • Ability to review and provide comprehensive reporting related to ticketing.
  • Ability to function effectively as part of a loosely coupled but highly aligned team.
  • Flexibility to pivot and adjust to the needs of the department.
  • Excellent internal customer service skills.
  • Ability to anticipate potential problems and escalate issues when needed.
