The Global Payroll Analyst is a crucial team member responsible for overseeing payroll operations across multiple regions, including the U.S., Canada, APAC, EMEA, and the UK. This role is essential in ensuring compliance with local tax and government regulations while streamlining payroll and HR processes. The analyst will analyze and document procedures to ensure global consistency and will interact with payroll providers as necessary. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of international payroll processes and tax laws, as well as proficiency in global payroll software systems and auditing. Collaboration with stakeholders is key to ensuring smooth payroll execution across various countries. In this role, the Global Payroll Analyst will oversee end-to-end payroll operations for multiple countries, ensuring compliance with local tax, social security, and labor laws. They will analyze and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for over 15 individual payrolls using Microsoft 'NOTES', ensuring alignment with regulatory changes. The analyst will collaborate with HR and Finance to coordinate payroll processing, cash flow planning, and special payment schemes such as bonuses and severance. Additionally, they will utilize and administer the ADP Reporting Tool to generate both ad hoc and routine reports to support business decisions. The analyst will assist in the preparation, evaluation, and distribution of annual employee reports, including W2, T4, T2200, and RL-1 forms. They will coordinate with external vendors for accurate payroll data exchange and process enhancements, maintaining an updated knowledge of international payroll regulations. Ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of payroll data is paramount, as is providing audit support and addressing payroll-related employee inquiries efficiently.
