About the position

The Global Pricing Strategy Analyst at Visa plays a crucial role in managing pricing strategies to drive revenue growth and the adoption of value-added services globally. This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop go-to-market strategies and support corporate initiatives. The Analyst will conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses, manage pricing and deal generation, and communicate recommendations to leadership, making a significant impact on Visa's pricing solutions and overall business strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Provide rigorous quantitative and qualitative analyses to identify and vet opportunities for revenue growth.
  • Manage aspects of pricing and deal generation, including business case development and stakeholder impact assessments.
  • Support global pricing strategy development and refinement, including opportunity identification and pricing change planning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute pricing initiatives.
  • Provide pricing expertise and best practices for disciplined pricing and deal management.
  • Build and maintain business landscape knowledge to support pricing initiatives.
  • Communicate and build support for recommendations among business leaders.
  • Participate in continuous training with other functions in the Global Pricing & Interchange Strategy team.

Requirements

  • 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD).
  • 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD).
  • Superior analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple project work streams and synthesize large data sets.
  • Ability to work independently in complex and ambiguous environments.
  • Eagerness to work intensively in joint teams with personnel of all levels.
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the payments or technology industry.
  • Familiarity with pricing frameworks and tools.
