About the position

The Global Process Manager (GPM) for Apple's Global Business Solution (GBS) organization plays a crucial role in leading a team of Global Process Analysts (GPAs) to enhance the Record-to-Report (R2R) function. This position is responsible for driving continuous operational improvements, implementing effective finance system solutions, and ensuring compliance and meaningful reporting within the R2R Global Process Organization (GPO). The GPM will work closely with various Apple business partners to manage critical projects and standardize processes globally.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Global Process Analysts to support finance and non-finance projects and process initiatives impacting GBS.
• Proactively communicate with R2R managers on project and process initiatives, addressing critical issues as needed.
• Collaborate with Apple business partners including Retail, Online Store, Internet Services, AppleCare, Operations, and IS&T to drive critical projects on time and within budget.
• Standardize project support globally and own an R2R subpillar, partnering with global ROMS to drive subpillar strategy and prioritize related processes and project roadmap.
• Develop team members to ensure their growth and development as individuals and as a group.
• Identify and implement globally consistent R2R processes, procedures, policies, and systems.
• Demonstrate technical and analytical abilities to drive operational improvements and system automation.

Requirements

• 7 years of professional experience in Accounting and Finance functions.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

Nice-to-haves

• 10 years of experience, with management experience.
• CPA/Qualified Accountant designation, Lean Six Sigma certification, and SAP experience highly preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, SOX, general ledger, and technical accounting.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end R2R processes from an operational and SAP system perspective.
• Experience in managing a team of finance professionals in an evolving, ambiguous, and fast-paced environment.
• Experience leading sophisticated projects and developing business requirements from inception to deployment.
