This temporary position requires you to serve as the liaison between the Designer, Merchandiser, and Supplier, ensuring that all aspects of the product development calendar are managed effectively and that products are delivered on time. You will oversee the entire development cycle, starting from the initial concept through to production hand-off, ensuring that the execution aligns with design, allocation, sourcing, and brand strategy. Your responsibilities will include leading cross-functional communication and coordination regarding timing, calendar updates, product approvals, and any issues that may arise. Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring and tracking samples, trims, fabric, print, and color development approvals, ensuring that all product information is accurate in the PLM system throughout the product lifecycle. Cost negotiations with suppliers to meet or exceed margin targets will also be part of your duties. Collaboration with the Compliance team will ensure that products meet Liberated Brands standards as well as global laws and standards, while working with the Production team will ensure that each style is appropriate for production lines. You will also prioritize and maintain the fit approval schedule in collaboration with Fit Tech and may be required to take seasonal development trips to suppliers internationally. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
