About the position

The Global Product Manager for Digital Security Services at Johnson Controls is responsible for leading the development and expansion of Connected Security services on a global scale. This role involves creating a vision and roadmap for service expansion, collaborating across various functions, and ensuring alignment with commercial goals. The position is remote, allowing flexibility in work location while requiring occasional travel for customer engagements and events.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of Connected Security services on a global scale.
• Create a vision and roadmap for service expansion into new markets.
• Drive the milestone process (RCLP) and secure business buy-in for initiatives.
• Define and scale service delivery models through installation and service resources.
• Influence market requirements for product development and support NPI planning goals.
• Negotiate product backlog and dependencies with internal and external teams.
• Partner with Product Marketing to build customer-facing collateral.
• Collaborate with the Commercial team to define Go-To-Market motions and KPIs.
• Represent the product line in business reviews and drive continuous improvements.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years total experience, with at least 5 years in the Security industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Direct experience in Product Management and commercial sales or marketing.
• Strong public speaking, negotiation, and customer-facing presentation skills.
• Ability to provide leadership without a direct reporting structure.
• Experience presenting to upper management and managing expectations.
