About the position

As the Global Product Manager for Thornton brand liquid chemical analyzers, you will oversee the entire product lifecycle, from development to obsolescence, focusing on expanding the company's presence in the power generation industry. This role involves collaborating with R&D on new product development, implementing marketing strategies, and providing technical support to sales teams. You will also be responsible for market intelligence gathering and training for various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage the global analytical product and instrumentation portfolio from cradle to grave.
• Provide full product lifecycle support for the chemical analyzers portfolio, including sales forecasts and pricing updates.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams to execute strategies that drive revenue growth.
• Develop and implement marketing plans for product introduction and support existing products.
• Collect, evaluate, and report marketing intelligence on customer needs and competitive activities.
• Prepare marketing deliverables to support sales and lead generation activities.
• Support global sales by responding to technical and application inquiries.
• Conduct product and application training for channel partners, sales reps, and customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering applied sciences or related field required.
• Minimum of 2-5 years of product management experience.
• Experience with liquid analyzers or instrumentation is a plus.
• Ability to travel globally up to 30%.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with a minimum of 3 days a week at the Billerica, MA location.
