About the position

As the Global Product Marketing Director for Radiation Oncology, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the downstream marketing strategy within the Oncology care area. This position encompasses the entire New Solutions Introduction (NSI) commercialization process, which includes defining the scope in collaboration with the Global Product Manager, generating value propositions and supporting evidence, and overseeing commercial deployment, training, and funnel creation. Your primary focus will be on identifying and developing growth opportunities, enhancing profit margins, and increasing market share for Radiation Oncology solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies and tactics that pertain to multi-product and service solutions in Radiation Oncology. You will define customer value propositions by gaining a deep understanding of customer challenges and clinical workflows. Your efforts will optimize commercial execution through the creation of marketing and launch plans that align market insights with emerging technology trends. Additionally, you will lead the development of evidence generation plans to support care pathway value propositions, manage the execution of care area marketing plans, and identify opportunities for growth and market share gain. You will conduct thorough clinical and industry trend analyses, market share assessments, and competitive analyses to inform product and commercial strategies. Your responsibilities will also include orchestrating research to assess market and customer environments, identifying unmet needs, and understanding buying cycles and personas. You will collaborate closely with Global Segment Marketing Managers, Region Product Marketing, Product Management, Engineering, and Global Design to provide input into the solutions development roadmap and to develop, test, and prototype new ideas. Furthermore, you will work with Region Product Marketing to analyze the installed base to define programs aimed at improving customer loyalty and retention. Your role will also involve developing inputs to support business cases for new solution introductions, including target pricing and positioning, as well as defining brand elements such as naming and trademarks. You will engage with professional societies and advocacy groups to identify and select Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) for thought leadership and awareness-building initiatives. You will support the development of regional KOLs in collaboration with regional teams and execute global product launch plans that encompass value propositions, segmentation, positioning, target pricing, awareness strategies, channel strategies, and sales enablement. Additionally, you will coordinate the development of marketing assets and product training materials, ensuring alignment between regional and global marketing plans. Finally, you will manage the budget necessary for executing the marketing plan and ensure timely implementation of all programs outlined in the marketing strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute marketing strategy and tactics related to multi-product and services solutions in Radiation Oncology.

  • Optimize commercial execution through development of marketing and launch plans and aligning market insights with technology trends.
  • Develop a plan for evidence generation to support care pathway value propositions.
  • Lead, coordinate and manage execution of care area marketing plans, identifying and executing opportunities for growth and share gain.
  • Perform clinical and industry trend analysis, market share and competitive analysis, and win/loss tracking to identify product and commercial strategies for growth.
  • Orchestrate research to assess market and customer environments and discover unmet needs, buying cycles, and personas.
  • Identify customers' clinical and economic needs, values, and desired benefits.
  • Collaborate with Global Segment Marketing Managers, Region Product Marketing, Product Management, Engineering, and Global Design to provide input to the solutions development roadmap.
  • Work with Region Product Marketing to perform installed base analysis to define programs needed to improve customer loyalty, share of wallet, and retention.
  • Develop inputs to support business case for new solution introductions, including target pricing and positioning.
  • Define brand (naming & trademarks), value proposition(s), and competitive positioning claims roadmap for new and existing solutions.
  • Interview professional societies and advocacy groups to identify and select KOLs for thought leadership and awareness building.
  • Support development of regional KOLs in collaboration with Regional teams.
  • Build and execute global product launch plan, including value proposition, segmentation/positioning, target pricing, awareness & advocacy strategies, channel strategy, and sales enablement.
  • Coordinate development of marketing assets and product training materials in cooperation with Marketing Services.
  • Ensure regional marketing plans are aligned with the global marketing plan and collaborate with regional marketing on selecting the appropriate marketing mix.
  • Collaborate with Advertising & Promotion and Communications to develop a communications plan in support of the marketing objective.
  • Develop and manage budget needed to execute marketing plan and ensure timely implementation of programs in marketing plan.

Requirements

  • Master's degree from an accredited university or college (or relevant knowledge/experience) with significant experience in Marketing in Healthcare domain, Clinical and Care Areas.
  • 5+ years of experience in Radiation Oncology.
  • 5+ years of downstream product marketing experience.
  • Experience in commercializing digital and AI solutions.

  • 10+ years of MedTech experience with a focus in Radiation Oncology.
