About the position

As the Global Product Marketing Lead for TikTok's Video Ads, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the go-to-market strategy and product roadmap for our premium video-focused products. This position requires a strategic thinker who can collaborate effectively across various teams to drive sales success and enhance product offerings. You will lead a team of product marketing managers, guiding them in both inbound and outbound marketing activities. Your responsibilities will include developing strategic plans in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders, utilizing market knowledge to analyze trends, and assessing TikTok's competitive position. You will define clear go-to-market strategies for our video ad products, ensuring alignment with sales and regional teams to create appealing solutions for TV and video buyers. In this role, you will also need to develop a deep understanding of TikTok's operational systems, ad systems, and measurement tools. This expertise will enable you to leverage insights to achieve customer goals and enhance our product offerings. You will work closely with Product, Sales, and Marketing leadership to set both short and long-term objectives, executing regional strategies effectively. Your ability to work in ambiguity and influence stakeholders at various organizational levels will be crucial to your success in this position. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to develop and implement strategic plans for TikTok's video offerings.
  • Utilize market knowledge to analyze trends and assess TikTok's position vs the competitive landscape, summarizing key gaps.
  • Define clear go-to-market strategies for TikTok's suite of video ad products, partnering closely with the sales and regional teams.
  • Work with Product, Sales, and Marketing leadership to set short and long-term OKR's across the working team.
  • Develop a deep understanding of TikTok's operational systems, ad systems, and measurement tools.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in business, marketing, or related field.
  • Experience managing, leading, mentoring, and developing a team of product marketing managers.
  • 5+ years of experience at a leading digital media platform, preferably in a go-to-market or product marketing capacity within the brand and/or video advertising space.
  • Strong expertise in planning, buying, and measuring video ad campaigns, with a strong understanding of brand buying objectives and KPI's.
  • Ability to work in ambiguity, collaborate effectively across organizational levels and geographies, and influence stakeholders.
