About the position

TikTok is the leading destination for short-form mobile video, with a mission to inspire creativity and bring joy. The TikTok App Ads and Gaming team, part of the TikTok Monetization Product organization, is responsible for building advertising products tailored for app and gaming clients. Our vision is to position TikTok as the premier platform for app and gaming marketers, focusing on user acquisition, retention, and monetization through innovative products that cater to unique vertical needs and various stages of the app lifecycle. In this role, you will define the go-to-market strategy for TikTok's App solution, particularly focusing on Android and Subscription models. You will play a crucial role in setting the strategy and ensuring its flawless execution and operational success. Conducting both qualitative and quantitative market research will be essential to explore new solutions and gather insights that inform product planning. As a product expert, you will assess product-market fit during alpha and beta testing phases, establishing a feedback loop to ensure that product launches exceed customer expectations. You will set the vision for product launches and the go-to-market strategy, collaborating closely with regional counterparts and cross-functional partners to drive in-market activations, sales enablement, and product adoption. Your influence will extend to shaping product requirements during the early planning and development stages, articulating customer feedback and market insights to become a trusted partner and thought leader in the problem/solution space. Additionally, you will participate in building a high-caliber product marketing team at TikTok, sharing best practices and evolving processes that benefit the entire team and the Product Solutions Organization (PSO).

Responsibilities

  • Define go-to-market strategy for TikTok's App solution (Focus area: Android and Subscription).
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative market research to explore new solutions and gather insights for product planning.
  • Become the product expert by assessing product market fit through alpha and beta testing phases and establishing a feedback mechanism for product launches.
  • Set the vision for product launch and GTM strategy, partnering with regional counterparts and cross-functional teams to drive activations and product adoption.
  • Influence product requirements during planning and development stages by articulating customer feedback and market insights.
  • Participate in establishing a high caliber product marketing team by sharing best practices and evolving processes that benefit the entire team.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree or above
  • 3+ years of product marketing or product management experience with digital ad products
  • 3+ years of experience in the digital advertising industry in a measurement capacity
  • Strong knowledge of the Android platform or Subscription App business model and experience in qualitative and quantitative measurement of marketing campaigns.
