About the position

The Global Product Marketing Manager for Brand Innovation at ByteDance is responsible for developing and executing go-to-market strategies for branding solutions. This role involves collaborating with various teams to understand market needs, conducting research, and ensuring effective communication of product value propositions. The position requires a strategic mindset to drive product adoption and enhance customer engagement through innovative marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Sales, Product Management, and Business Marketing leadership to set long-term objectives and develop go-to-market strategies for branding solutions.
  • Conduct research into business owners, agencies, creators, and competitors to understand their creative production philosophy and needs.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to synthesize market needs and inform product development direction.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop and execute regional programs and initiatives.
  • Understand nascent advertising and measurement products to leverage them for customer goals.
  • Transform insights into actionable deliverables, including product functions or third-party solution packages.
  • Oversee all aspects of campaign execution, from planning to content creation and validation.
  • Identify significant ways to engage and educate the audience.
  • Track and analyze key content metrics to identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Management, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 4 years of experience in product marketing and operations, product management, or product strategy in the digital advertising industry.
  • Experience in defining product value and creating pricing logic and hierarchy.
  • Ability to build business cases from market research to analysis.
  • Experience in developing marketing messages for different audiences.
  • Experience in building go-to-market plans and content to drive product adoption.
