About the position

The Global Product Marketing Manager at HSIO, a division of Amphenol, is responsible for driving growth and managing the P&L for the OverPass solutions within the high-speed connector portfolio. This role involves leading a team of product line managers and specialists, collaborating with global sales and operations teams, and developing strategies to capture business opportunities in various markets. The position requires a strategic vision for product development, market analysis, and customer engagement to ensure successful product launches and market penetration.

Responsibilities

  • Formulate and execute a strategy to launch and grow the OverPass solutions in the high-speed connector portfolio.
  • Set the strategic vision for the product line, build and maintain product roadmaps, and translate market/customer needs into product definitions/requirements.
  • Develop go-to-market strategies and drive new business development in new markets and customers.
  • Work closely with global sales, field application engineering, and marketing teams to facilitate new design wins.
  • Drive product training and sales promotions to prospect new opportunities.
  • Understand current industry applications and map future industry trends to inform product planning.
  • Participate in high-speed IO connector standards groups to strategically position Amphenol solutions.
  • Analyze competitors and implement actions to outperform competition and develop pricing strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction of the OverPass portfolio.
  • Forecast bookings/revenues, pricing strategies, and evaluate key capital investment ROI.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; MBA/MS desirable.
  • 8+ years of product management and business development experience, preferably in an electronics product line.
  • Experience managing product life cycle including strategic vision, product roadmaps, and P&L ownership.
  • Experience launching new technology products in the telecom/datacom markets.
  • Experience scaling new products for mass adoption in the market.
  • People management experience.
