About the position

As a Global Product Owner of Powered by VTS, you will be responsible for bringing CBRE's strategy with VTS to life within the Property Management (PM) business around the world. This role requires a deep understanding of the PM business and clients, along with expert knowledge of technology as an enabler of business outcomes. Your primary goal will be to grow the use of VTS with both existing and new clients, ensuring that the product aligns with the strategic objectives of the organization. In this position, you will develop, implement, and lead the PM's Host Digital Product Strategy, Roadmap, P&L, Budget, and Operating Guidelines for the Host suite. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with various teams including Product Management, PM Digital & Technology (D&T), Business Transformation, Data and Insights, and Client Solutions. You will represent Host Digital Products as part of key strategic PM initiatives across multiple sectors such as MFH/Residential, Flex/Co-Working, Industrial, Retail, Life Sciences, and more. Your role will also involve maintaining relationships with internal collaborators, particularly PM Market Leads, Property Managers, Facility Managers, and Client Care/Services. You will assess the feasibility of new product and service development, new sector/market entry, and the integration of various technologies within the PM D&T ecosystem and client Smart-Building ecosystem, leveraging partnerships with companies like Deepki, MRI, Yardi, and Salesforce. In terms of product execution, you will coordinate the deployment, implementation, reporting, support, and success of the Host Digital Product(s). This includes overseeing the recruitment, selection, retention, and engagement of team members involved in the Host Digital, D&T, Business Systems Admin, and Market/Business Ops. Additionally, you will work alongside Client Solutions and Market Leaders on strategic client pursuits, acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and supporting the Global Host Client Solutions Leads in managing the Sales Pipeline. Maintaining and fostering relationships with PM's largest strategic clients will be crucial, as you will represent them in product roadmap and innovation forums, providing thought leadership and product demonstrations related to Smart-Building/Digital Services and PropTech. Finally, you will manage the relationship with VTS and other relevant strategic integration partners, ensuring that they are core to the Host Digital Product service offering, including Smart-Buildings.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 10-15 years of relevant experience; a combination of experience and education will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Multi-dimensional, conceptual, and innovative thinking to develop new solutions.
  • Ability to identify and solve complex problems.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Expert organizational skills with an inquisitive mentality.
  • Expert math skills, including the ability to calculate complex figures such as percentages and fractions.
