About the position

The Global Product Performance Manager at PayPal is a key role within the Enterprise Platform Growth team, focusing on leveraging data analysis and creative problem-solving to enhance merchant performance and drive the adoption of PayPal's products and services. This position requires a deep understanding of the payments ecosystem and involves collaborating with various teams to provide insights and support to top enterprise merchants across different verticals, particularly in the US market.

Responsibilities

  • Generate, leverage and scale insights from engagements to empower the broader PayPal organization.
  • Proactively source new business opportunities and maintain PayPal's position as a thought leader.
  • Influence product prioritization by supporting impact sizing and business case development based on merchant demand.
  • Drive adoption and retention of PayPal's products and services through data-driven storytelling and ROI analysis.
  • Collaborate with the analytics organization to develop foundational tools and dashboards to scale key learnings.
  • Identify proactive client engagement opportunities for the broader enterprise consulting team.
  • Illustrate a deep understanding of the payments ecosystem and ecommerce landscape.
  • Stay updated on payment trends and their impact on customer business models.
  • Support the development of proof points and collateral to drive product adoption.
  • Manage partnerships internally and externally to drive client outcomes.

Requirements

  • World class strategic and analytical thinking with the ability to put complex ideas into clear frameworks.
  • Strong track record in developing strategic insights from quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Superior communication skills, both verbal and written, with external client experience.
  • Extremely fluent in SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Python).
  • At least 5 years of experience in the payments industry, ideally in checkout, issuing, or card processing.
  • Strong collaboration skills, with experience working across teams to drive results.
  • Bachelor's Degree required; MBA or quantitative degree preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with developer toolkits and integration components such as SDKs and APIs.
  • Experience working with product and engineering teams.
