About the position

The Global Public Affairs Head for Hemophilia at Sanofi is responsible for developing and executing global public affairs strategies that align with the company's objectives in the hemophilia portfolio. This role involves collaboration with local teams to ensure global strategies are relevant and effective, managing relationships with patient groups and stakeholders, and driving initiatives that elevate treatment goals for hemophilia. The position aims to reinforce Sanofi's leadership in innovation and patient commitment while preparing for significant product launches and ensuring patient access to treatments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute global public affairs plans for the hemophilia franchise.
  • Drive implementation of a robust Global PA strategy to support business objectives.
  • Elevate goals for hemophilia treatment through scientific exchanges and community engagement.
  • Manage relationships with patient groups to ensure their voice shapes business strategy.
  • Collaborate with local PA teams to ensure global strategies reflect local realities.
  • Cultivate strategic partnerships with stakeholders to bring solutions to patients.
  • Monitor and analyze trends impacting business strategy and communicate them to leadership.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to TA Heads for external engagements.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in political sciences, law, economics, medicine, or pharmacy.
  • Post-graduate degree in public health or healthcare-related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 12 years of experience in Public Affairs, Market Access, Policy, or Government Affairs.
  • Experience in developing policy and advocacy strategies in a public affairs role.
  • Prior experience in hemophilia is preferred.
  • Strong collaboration skills across local and global teams.
  • Experience in a highly matrixed and pressured environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience partnering with cross-functional teams such as Medical, Regulatory Affairs, and Market Access.
  • Knowledge of stakeholder groups including trade associations and patient organizations.
