About the position

The Global Real Estate (GRE) Finance team within JPMorgan Chase's Chief Administrative Office is responsible for analyzing the firm's corporate real estate portfolio, including capital investment and expense planning, balance sheet forecasting, and workforce location planning. As a Financial Analysis Associate, you will collaborate with regional finance teams to consolidate financial results and conduct value-added analyses, ensuring a sound control environment and presenting findings to senior management. This hybrid role requires strong analytical and presentation skills, with a focus on executive-level communication and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with GRE Regional Finance teams on financial planning and forecast submissions for capital investments, balance sheet, and expenses.
  • Contribute to the monthly Executive Management Report covering strategic and operational aspects of GRE.
  • Provide oversight on consolidated financial forecasts and analyze key business drivers and performance against budget.
  • Unlock executive-level insights on variance drivers between actuals and forecasts, flagging risks and opportunities for the Global CFO.
  • Assist in consolidating and reviewing senior leadership meeting materials for consistency and coherence.
  • Maintain confidentiality while producing 5-year forecast outlooks, combining key strategies and capital investment plans.
  • Communicate with Corporate and Firmwide teams on GRE's budget submissions, providing comparative analysis.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of finance and/or accounting experience, with real estate finance experience preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and sharp analytical/quantitative skills.
  • Ability to analyze large data sets and draw conclusions with attention to detail and the big picture.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with experience collaborating across functions and locations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Execution-oriented with the ability to complete tasks independently.

Nice-to-haves

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Tableau is a plus.
