About the position

The Global Relationship Leader is responsible for managing relationships with S&P DJI's largest asset management clients globally. This role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in index investments, focusing on driving strategy, revenue growth, and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction. The leader will develop account plans, engage clients, collaborate with internal teams, and mentor team members to enhance their skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive account plans tailored to client needs.
  • Lead efforts to license new intellectual property and sell data solutions.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at client accounts.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure a unified approach to client management.
  • Develop KPIs and OKRs tied to financial goals and lead quarterly business reviews.
  • Own a global issue log to prioritize and resolve key pre- and post-sales issues.
  • Maintain documentation of key client initiatives and contracts for knowledge transfer.
  • Mentor and develop team members through coaching and sharing best practices.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 10 years of successful experience in strategic account management or revenue generation roles.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA and/or CFA designation preferred.
  • Extensive understanding of trends impacting the index, asset management, and capital markets sectors.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales and revenue goals.
  • Ability to make sound, data-driven decisions quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
