About The Position

The Global Risk Specialist (GRS) at Securitas Inc. is responsible for monitoring, assessing, and communicating risk and crisis events that may impact the company's global operations, business travelers, and supply chain. This role involves leveraging various data sources to prepare intelligence reports and disseminate information to relevant audiences. The position is based in New York City and requires on-site work during specific shifts, with occasional remote work and overtime for coverage.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred or 5+ years' experience in military, law enforcement, or corporate security.
  • Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams).
  • Exposure to data visualization and mapping platforms.
  • Proficient with social media and open-source searches.
  • Ability to monitor inquiries, assess information quickly, recall operational procedures, and initiate actions.
  • Must be able to think on their feet.
  • Prior intelligence analyst experience preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in crisis management or emergency response.
  • Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies.
  • Knowledge of global security trends and issues.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, assess, and report on threats to the company's worldwide operations using proprietary and open sources.
  • Prepare accurate, succinct, and timely communications on issues impacting site operations globally, business travelers, and supply chains.
  • Perform Crisis Management duties by monitoring critical assets and initiating response actions during emergencies.
  • Maintain awareness of Executive Leadership travel and prepare weekly threat assessments and intelligence reports.
  • Maintain proficiency in the company's mass notification platform, travel tracker, mapping system, and other Resilience Center tools.
  • Leverage social media research and analysis to support internal threat investigations.
  • Triage and escalate telephone inquiries to appropriate parties within the company.
  • Provide trip briefings to international travelers and escalate travel-related incidents to regional security partners.
  • Conduct incident reviews using video management and access control systems.
  • Facilitate daily shift briefings and handovers to the Resilience Center hub in Kuala Lumpur.
