About the position

The Global Account Executive at SHI International Corp. is responsible for driving new business growth by expanding the portfolio of products and services within existing accounts and developing new business opportunities. This role involves identifying customer needs, qualifying sales opportunities, presenting value propositions, overcoming objections, closing sales, and maintaining sales activity records. The position requires collaboration with sales leadership and internal support teams to effectively position the company's innovative solutions and support to target customers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop business with existing customers and establish new customers through targeted sales techniques such as cold calling and customer meetings.
  • Identify, create, develop, and manage opportunities in the sales pipeline to achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with current and new customers and partner contacts.
  • Understand customer business objectives and IT priorities across various stakeholders.
  • Effectively communicate the company's portfolio of products, solutions, and services across various domains.
  • Collaborate with pre and post-sales internal support teams.
  • Excel in a team selling environment, coordinating resources across teams.
  • Continue education on industry trends, products, and market conditions.
  • Build market awareness of the company through participation in local and regional industry events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience required.
  • 3-5 years of successful IT sales experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to excel in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment.
  • Experience in meeting or exceeding sales targets by selling company products and solutions.
  • Proven track record in identifying, creating, developing, and managing opportunities in a sales pipeline.

Nice-to-haves

  • Direct outside sales experience with large enterprise clients.
  • Previous training or experience in solution selling.
  • Experience selling and managing complex IT solutions.
  • Multiple major technology sales certifications.
  • Working knowledge of programs and technology from industry-leading OEMs such as Microsoft, Dell/VMware, HP, Cisco, Apple, AWS, Lenovo.
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies such as Cloud, Security, IoT, Digital Workplace.
