Vertiv is hiring a Global Sales and Operations Data Specialist in Westerville, OH, who will serve as the key connection point that links and synthesizes data from the various regional SIOP (Sales, Inventory, Operations, and Planning) teams to drive global reporting. This role is crucial in fulfilling all necessary requirements as a business analyst for the global operations team and their partnering functions. The successful candidate will coordinate with the Global Enterprise Reporting & Analytics team and regional SIOP teams to compile data needed to support the Global SIOP process. Collaboration with Offering Management, Sales Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance, and Procurement will be essential to compile reporting that supports key global decisions. Additionally, the Global Sales and Operations Data Specialist will assist the Global SIOP Process Leader in building presentations to drive decisions from the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and global functional leaders. The position will also be responsible for the global operational team's data governance, data integrity, and the construction and maintenance of data files. This individual will guide daily operations decision-makers by providing real-time and accurate information pulled from the business's operational databases. Additional duties include collaboration with regional and functional partners on data file maintenance and creation, as well as executive communication. The principal duties and responsibilities include executing the consolidation of regional Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning activities among the Sales, Manufacturing, and Procurement functions, which consist of consensus demand planning, manufacturing capacity and network optimization, and inventory optimization. The role will support scenario planning with executive leadership and assist the Global Material & Manufacturing Planning Senior Director in building tools that support the global material and manufacturing planning process. Data analysis, process improvement, reporting, collaboration, project management, stakeholder communication, and compliance are key components of this position.
