As the Global Sales Enablement Manager at Henkel, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing the Application Engineering function for Consumer Goods Adhesives. This position involves a multifaceted approach to enhance the performance of the global team by assessing their needs and gathering insights from customers regarding their expectations of the Application Engineering role. You will be responsible for leading internal projects that ensure the function not only meets current demands but also evolves to address future challenges in the fast-paced consumer goods market. You will own the Application Engineering Excellence Forum, which is crucial for sharing best practices across the global team. This includes harmonizing various operational aspects such as visit reports, troubleshooting techniques, new trials, innovation, and value calculations. Your role will also involve identifying opportunities to optimize the overall customer experience delivery, ensuring that Henkel remains competitive and responsive to market changes. In addition, you will work on projects that leverage big data and digitalization. This includes optimizing the global laboratory footprint, consolidating capabilities, maintaining competitor databases, and implementing current and future digital tools across the team. A significant part of your responsibilities will also include leading upskilling efforts within the global division for Consumer Goods Adhesives. You will define competency models for different roles, design training curriculums based on identified needs, and ensure that both commercial and functional team members possess robust and relevant skill sets for their positions.
