About the position

Bio-Rad's Global Commercial Operations (GCO) Commercial Effectiveness team is dedicated to equipping commercial employees with the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to empower them to drive business results. The Global Sales Enablement Manager plays a pivotal role in this mission, being responsible for the design, development, and launch of training, communications, and change management initiatives aimed at improving processes that support the success of Bio-Rad's global Sales organization. This position requires a strong foundation in Change Management, communications, and instructional design to ensure that process improvement initiatives are effectively integrated within the Sales team. As a change agent, the Global Sales Enablement Manager will focus on performance excellence and customer centricity while collaborating with a diverse group of stakeholders across the organization. In this role, the Global Sales Enablement Manager will primarily support the Global Sales Operations team as global Sales processes are implemented and embedded. This includes ensuring that all teams possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities to adhere to standard operating processes related to Territory, Account, Opportunity, Sales Funnel, Leads, Quoting, pricing and discounting, and optimal pricing practices. The position will involve managing multiple change management, instructional design, and communications projects simultaneously, collaborating with stakeholders to understand new or refined processes, and leveraging the Prosci change management methodology to develop essential change management plans. The manager will also be responsible for creating engaging training materials and analyzing their impact using established measurement tools. The Global Sales Enablement Manager will be instrumental in driving excitement and awareness about process changes through multi-channel communications and will develop a variety of training formats, including eLearning modules, assessments, and instructor-led training courses. This role is crucial for ensuring that the Sales team is well-prepared to implement new processes effectively and efficiently, ultimately contributing to the overall success of Bio-Rad's sales effectiveness journey.

Responsibilities

  • Drive 5+ change management, instructional design, and/or communications projects simultaneously.
  • Collaborate with Global Commercial Operations stakeholders to understand processes being introduced or refined.
  • Leverage the Prosci change management methodology to develop essential change management plans (Communication, Training, People Manager, and Sponsor).
  • Make innovative recommendations to drive process improvement initiative success.
  • Develop multi-channel communications for all levels of the organization to generate awareness and excitement about process changes.
  • Create engaging training materials, including eLearning modules, assessments, and instructor-led training courses.
  • Analyze the impact of training materials following the Kirkpatrick Model and change management measurement tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Instructional Design, Learning Technologies, Life Science, Clinical Diagnosis or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 9+ years of demonstrable experience in enabling process improvement initiatives in a fast-paced matrixed environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to function autonomously.
  • Experience working in a matrixed organization and building relationships remotely and cross-culturally.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with +3/-3 levels of the organization.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to assess situations and implement effective solutions.
  • Results-driven collaborator with excellent time and project management skills.
  • Proficient in eLearning technical tools such as Articulate Storyline, Camtasia, Adobe Captivate.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
