About the position

The GSOC Analyst executes the various core functions of the GSOC, including Incident Recognition/Escalation, Intelligence Analysis, Emergency Response, and Physical Security. Analysts act as partners who work closely with teams across the security organization and the wider business to understand information requirements, deliver timely analysis, and present key insights to internal stakeholders. The GSOC Analyst also leads global threat intelligence/incident monitoring, escalation, and alerting. We are seeking someone who is familiar with the Intel/Analyst arena of social media scrubs, disseminating information, and generating incident triage.

Responsibilities

  • Execute core functions of the GSOC including Incident Recognition/Escalation, Intelligence Analysis, Emergency Response, and Physical Security.
  • Work closely with teams across the security organization and the wider business.
  • Deliver timely analysis and present key insights to internal stakeholders.
  • Lead global threat intelligence/incident monitoring, escalation, and alerting.

Requirements

  • Experience as a security/SOC analyst or comparable role in security administration preferred.
  • Analytic and critical thinking skills with the ability to prepare reports.
  • Ability to use logic and reasoning to reach conclusions and approaches to problems.
  • Demonstrated high level of competency with computer systems (e.g., Microsoft software, access control software, social media monitoring, etc.).
  • Threat analysis and monitoring / Incident Response: interpreting events and escalation.
  • Awareness of latest and common security threats.
  • Excellent ability to diagnose and troubleshoot risk assessment issues.
  • Skill in oral and written communication, including escalations to senior management.
  • Knowledge of software systems such as Lenel a plus.
  • Must be willing to undergo pre-employment processes such as Drug Testing and Background screening.
  • Have a solid/stable work history in the past 6 years, no more than 3 jobs. Supplemental jobs are acceptable.
  • At least 18 years of age or older.
  • Guard card required or the ability to obtain one.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
