About the position

The Global Senior Brand Manager - Oncology at Bayer is responsible for supporting the Global Product Teams in designing and executing brand strategies to commercialize Bayer's pharmaceutical portfolio. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and key markets to co-create marketing strategies and tactics for successful product commercialization, ensuring alignment with global brand objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Support effective development and implementation of marketing strategies for the asset.
  • Manage the development of brand plans and interface with markets for integrated brand planning.
  • Develop segmentation strategies for healthcare professionals (HCP) and patients.
  • Lead the creation of unbranded and branded key message frameworks and integrated brand communications strategies.
  • Champion global brand alignment by advising affiliates on brand strategy.
  • Develop and evaluate integrated omnichannel plans and promotional guidance across multiple channels.
  • Lead the development of Digital Health solutions to enhance stakeholder experience.
  • Monitor and control brand budgets, forecasts, and expenses.

Requirements

  • Minimum BS or BA degree.
  • Experience in global or regional marketing required.
  • Experience managing external collaborations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Experience working in matrix-based teams with strong collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrated cross-functional leadership capabilities.

Nice-to-haves

  • PhD, MBA, or advanced degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of International/Global Strategic Brand Management experience in key Therapy Areas (CV, WH, Ophthalmology, Oncology).
  • Experience in commercializing products in key PT markets.
  • Experience in customer-facing positions.
