About the position

The Global Senior Creative Director for Women's Lifestyle at Nike is responsible for leading a multidisciplinary team in Art & Design Direction, Narrative, Studio Management, and Production. This role focuses on driving creative ideas and collaboration across multiple projects, ensuring the delivery of integrated creative work aligned with seasonal strategies. The director will blend sport and style to create distinctive Nike work, mentor designers, and foster innovative thinking and teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Global Women's Brand Creative Lifestyle team, providing leadership, mentorship, and direction.
  • Develop the Global Women's Lifestyle creative point of view on key projects in collaboration with the VP, Global Creative Director of Women's.
  • Drive brand awareness and engagement through creative deliverables.
  • Deliver outstanding photography, video content, digital design, and narrative for Women's Lifestyle projects.
  • Maintain relationships with photographers, filmmakers, illustrators, and designers for editorial creative.
  • Lead art direction and narrative for Women's Lifestyle shoots, ensuring content is on-brand and diverse.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends in sport, fashion, design, and technology relevant to Nike.
  • Collaborate with various teams to lead creative concept processes and projects.
  • Develop performance concept maps to support merchandising and buying strategies.
  • Ensure projects are well-planned, creatively exceptional, and delivered on time.
  • Identify training and development needs for team members.
  • Review project work for quality, consistency, and successful completion.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in concept, design, narrative, or art direction in a branded content, agency, editorial, or marketing environment.
  • Understanding of Women's sport and style.
  • Passion for athletes, sport, and culture.
  • Strong people management and mentoring skills.
  • Experience in commissioning and directing design, photography, and moving images in digital environments.
  • Existing relationships with freelance photographers, directors, and stylists.
  • Excellent verbal and visual communication skills.
  • Experience across online, print, and experiential design with a solid understanding of content platforms.
  • Proficiency in design, typography, and retouching using Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Experience leading a design/narrative studio across various locations is preferred.
