As a Global Senior Data Center Technical Engineering Manager at CBRE, you will play a pivotal role in delivering technical services for our global data center clients. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the pricing, delivery, and scope of vendor maintenance contracts while developing market-leading processes and critical operations documentation. You will ensure that all technical services meet client Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and maintain 100% uptime for our clients. This position is integral to the Engineering and Technical Services function, where you will provide support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on various equipment and systems. In this role, you will manage a team of Technical Leaders and Managers, creating and maintaining a set of CBRE Critical Environment technical operational processes and procedures that align with contractual requirements and industry best practices. You will be responsible for managing operations and maintenance for assigned facilities, developing operating and capital budgets, and driving the acquisition of new management contracts. Your role will also involve maintaining ongoing communication with high-profile tenants, clients, owners, facility management teams, and vendors to ensure seamless operations. You will recommend and implement improvements for preventive maintenance programs, create and maintain effective building-specific maintenance and safety procedure manuals, and provide technical support during incidents. Additionally, you will review and approve high-risk emergency operating procedures for clients worldwide, ensuring compliance with necessary legislation and statutory requirements. Your strategic and operational support will be crucial in evaluating and improving technical operational processes and procedures across the global portfolio. This position requires a commitment to health and safety, ensuring that both client and company policies are effectively implemented across all activities. You will present critical facility program results and performance metrics to senior management and perform audits on processes and procedures to identify gaps and risks. Your leadership will be essential in developing operational procedural documents and supporting critical facilities commissioning standards within the accounts. You will also assist in the sales and pricing process for third-party critical facility vendor contracts, ensuring compliance with client contract requirements and performance evaluations.
