About the position

The Global Senior Marketing Manager for Neutrogena Face Innovation & Communication at Kenvue is a pivotal role that focuses on leading the development of a three-year innovation pipeline to achieve the strategic and operational goals of the Neutrogena Face brand. This position is responsible for driving the creation of new product concepts, claims, and commercial innovations, as well as managing lifecycle projects that are informed by consumer insights and market trends. The role requires a strong emphasis on collaboration, as the manager will lead a cross-functional team to ensure excellence in all aspects of product development, from initial concept research through to product design, packaging development, and commercialization. In this role, the Senior Manager will be tasked with building and influencing business activities and projects, ensuring alignment with key partners and decision-makers to advance a cohesive portfolio architecture that addresses critical category entry points. The position also involves fostering a high-performance environment and a culture of collaboration and innovation among cross-functional partners and marketing teams. The manager will design strategies for the US lead market while also collaborating with adept markets in APAC, LATAM, and EMEA to support the global brand equity and innovation of the Neutrogena Face Platform. Additionally, the role includes leading, coaching, and developing direct reports to enhance team performance and drive results.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of a 3-year innovation pipeline for Neutrogena Face.
  • Drive the development of new product concepts, claims, and commercial innovations.
  • Manage lifecycle projects shaped by consumer and category insights.
  • Lead a cross-functional team to ensure excellence in product development from concept to commercialization.
  • Influence business activities and projects, gaining alignment from key partners and decision-makers.
  • Build a high-performance environment and culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Design strategies for the US lead market while supporting global brand equity in APAC, LATAM, and EMEA.
  • Coach and develop direct reports.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Prior innovation experience is required, with skin health & beauty innovation experience highly preferred.
  • A minimum of 8 years of working experience, with at least 5 years of progressive marketing experience is required.
  • Proven brand business building and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to craft ideas and recommendations based on consumer insights.
  • Proven cross-functional collaboration and leadership skills.
  • Ability to understand a consumer target and position a brand effectively.
  • Demonstrated communication skills and ability to influence key partners and decision makers without authority.
  • Proven analytical skills and financial acuity in making effective business decisions.

Nice-to-haves

  • An MBA or equivalent degree is preferred.
  • Prior Consumer Packaged Goods experience is preferred.
  • Proven track record of driving growth and innovation.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
