About the position

Meta is seeking a Regional Manager for the Global Services Design, Engineering, and Construction (DEC) team, responsible for overseeing new build and retrofit projects in North America, Latin America, and South America. This role focuses on enhancing physical security infrastructure and building systems through innovative design solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and processes to deliver high-quality workspaces.

Responsibilities

• Assess security risk and business risk during early project phases to influence design strategy.
• Develop a well-defined and coordinated set of design documents capturing project intent and relevant standards.
• Support integration of physical security and building system design elements into various design disciplines.
• Review design documents to ensure compliance with standards and guidelines.
• Manage the end-to-end process of delivering physical security infrastructure projects on time and within budget.
• Develop annual forecasting and resource allocation strategies for design and construction services.
• Review proposed product updates and standards modifications for continuous improvement.
• Administer vendor master service agreements and facilitate quarterly business reviews with vendors.
• Oversee communication and collaboration among stakeholders to ensure timely project completion.
• Analyze and resolve construction process issues and respond to escalated RFIs and change orders.
• Validate construction against design documents and regulatory requirements before project completion.
• Assess and implement modifications to existing projects in alignment with organizational strategy.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure process integration into the overall workplace program.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in large scale corporate/technology/industrial design, construction, operations, or maintenance.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (MEP, Architectural, Structural, or Civil), Construction Management, or a related field.
• In-depth knowledge of building construction discipline, project design, and delivery methodologies.
• Experience preparing annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and monthly reports for multiple projects.
• Familiarity with physical security principles and practices.
• Ability to manage projects and communicate technical details to all organizational levels.

Nice-to-haves

• Advanced degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• Physical Security Certification (PSP, CPP, CPTED, etc).
• Experience with low voltage security systems or other building systems.
• 10+ years of experience in the field or related area.
• Experience with all disciplines of construction (civil, structural, architectural, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and security/low voltage).
• Experience with site selection and master planning of large-scale projects.
