About the position

The Sourcing Analyst position at Waters Corporation is designed for a highly motivated individual who will contribute to building a world-class global procurement organization. This role focuses on supporting procurement operations through data analysis, reporting, and the development of procurement strategies. The successful candidate will work closely with the procurement team to enhance effectiveness and capabilities, while also tracking procurement performance and providing insights for decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Master use of Spend Visibility tools such as PowerBI and Spend Analytics Module from SAP
  • Produce monthly metrics package for Global Procurement team
  • Utilize other tools such as Smartsheet for analytical purposes
  • Review supplier-provided reporting and spend visibility output to evaluate compliance with preferred suppliers and identify potential sourcing opportunities
  • Maintain and continuously enhance central dashboard used to track Procurement value, including progress relative to targets
  • Collaborate with Procurement team members to streamline and assist in various RFx events
  • Create documentation, pricing comparison, and other files as needed for internal stakeholder and/or site review
  • Provide analysis and input as required to support the Procurement team's strategic sourcing events, supplier negotiations, supply market research, and other strategic sourcing activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) in a related area of Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering or Business Management preferred
  • Strong verbal, written, listening and presentation skills
  • Advanced analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Strong work ethic and high level of integrity
  • Comfortable in challenging, performance-driven environment
  • Exceptional customer service disposition
  • Highly competent in planning effectively, managing deadlines, and balancing multiple tasks and initiatives simultaneously
  • Proficient at building and maintaining relationships
  • Solid experience with all Microsoft Office products, especially Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Smartsheet and PowerBI.
