About the position
The Global Strategic Marketing Manager at Lubrizol Corporation will lead the execution of the global marketing strategy for the Engineered Polymers and Medical Solutions division. This role focuses on developing and implementing strategic projects and marketing plans to enhance market presence and drive growth. The manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and alignment with business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Create and implement a compelling global market strategy to secure target market position.
- Drive cohesion across regional teams for strategic marketing initiatives and new business development.
- Execute key initiatives to enhance Lubrizol's market presence and sustain above-market growth.
- Identify product gaps and customer needs to influence the innovation roadmap.
- Strengthen the positioning of the existing portfolio based on consumer insights.
- Partner with R&D, business development, and sales teams to ensure a robust pipeline and successful project execution.
- Stay updated on industry trends and maintain essential external relationships.
- Collaborate with the Product Management team on global launch strategies to achieve financial and growth objectives.
- Oversee and influence product management decisions to align with business strategy and profitability targets.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in a technical discipline; MBA (or equivalent) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years in B2B marketing within the medical and/or chemical industry.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication capabilities.
- Strong creative marketing skills and capabilities.
- Experience leading innovation pipeline projects.
- Proven ability to operate in a complex, matrix organization and foster relationships with internal partners.
