About the position

The Global Supply Chain Planner and Demand Coordinator is a critical role responsible for managing the global supply and demand balancing for a specific category or group of products within the organization. This position is based in Clark, NJ, and is a contract role expected to last between 7 to 9 months. The planner will coordinate the confirmed supply plan with manufacturing and OMA master production schedulers, facilitating trade-off decisions based on the confirmed supply plan. This role requires a strong focus on quality management of the Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP) from international markets, including the U.S., ensuring that net requirements passed to manufacturing facilities are accurate and aligned with commercial interests. In addition to managing the flow of product and information, the Global Supply Chain Planner serves as the single point of contact for the Global Demand Management Initiative (DMI) regarding global demand and supply arbitration, new product launches, and coordination efforts. The planner will also be responsible for setting and maintaining global inventory parameters for managed stock positions and handling the disposition of excess and obsolete inventory by allocating it to local markets as necessary. Key responsibilities include coordinating the arbitration process of finished products, interfacing with the Global DMI for demand and supply balancing issues, managing global inventory targets, and communicating with local market supply teams to ensure alignment on supply requirements.
