About the position

Tetra Tech is seeking a dedicated professional to play a leading role in building our successful global energy practice. This position is crucial for supporting management in achieving record high results through effective communication, project management, and business partnership skills. The successful candidate will manage the home office and international talent acquisition process, ensuring that we attract and retain top talent for our operating unit headquarters, surge proposals, and international project recruitment. This role is initially a six-month contract, with the potential for conversion to permanent employment based on performance. In this position, you will provide full life-cycle recruitment support to home office, proposal, and project teams. You will collaborate closely with hiring managers and the HR team to develop and revise position descriptions, ensuring they accurately reflect the needs of the organization. Additionally, you will partner with management to identify staffing needs, screen candidates, conduct interviews, check references, negotiate salaries, and prepare contingent offer letters in coordination with HR. Your ability to develop and maintain a pipeline of key talent through online sources and networking strategies will be essential in creating a personal connection between Tetra Tech and high-caliber consultant talent. You will also be responsible for driving applicant traffic by listing job postings on various platforms, including job boards, social media, and the corporate career page. Proactively recruiting by engaging with geographical and industry-specific candidates will be a key part of your role, as will assisting the proposal team with recruitment responsibilities, including developing staffing plans and tailoring candidates' resumes. Managing the applicant tracking system (Taleo) and completing weekly reports on the talent pipeline and potential talent markets will also be part of your responsibilities. You will have the opportunity to manage ad hoc initiatives and projects as needed, contributing to the overall success of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Provide full life-cycle recruitment support to home office, proposal, and project teams.

  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of key talent through online sources and employ networking strategies to create a personal connection between Tetra Tech and high-caliber consultant talent.
  • Drive applicant traffic by listing job postings on job boards, social media, corporate career page, and other possible channels.
  • Proactively recruit by engaging with geographical and industry specific candidates, building a relationship with candidates ahead of hiring demands.
  • Assist proposal team with recruitment responsibilities to include developing staffing plans, tailoring candidates' resumes, and other assigned duties.
  • Manage the applicant tracking system (Taleo).
  • Complete weekly reports on talent pipeline and potential talent markets and report out to the Executive Management Team.
  • Manage ad hoc initiatives and projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, communication, business administration or another related field.
  • Five years of professional, business experience working within communications, project operations, human resources, or other related fields.
  • Mastery of social media platforms for outreach purposes (e.g., LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook).
  • Outstanding multitasking and organizational capabilities, including high-level ability to independently plan, prioritize, take initiative, and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Experience working productively in a fast-paced work environment, balancing competing priorities.
  • Strong writing and editing skills.

  • Prior staffing experience.
  • Prior experience working in a global, multicultural environment.
  • Utilized enterprise applicant tracking systems (Taleo, BrassRing, Workday, etc.).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of advanced sourcing techniques.
