The Global Power Generation Technical Specialist is a critical role within the Technical Integration Group, serving as a risk management resource for clients and contributing to AIG's reputation as a leading global insurance organization. In this role, you will work closely with clients, underwriters, and risk engineers to identify and mitigate various risks to their businesses, including fire, flood, windstorm, and equipment breakdown. Your day-to-day responsibilities will vary; one day you may assist an Account Risk Engineer in understanding the risks associated with power generation equipment, while the next day you may support an underwriter in evaluating new accounts or writing internal technical documents.
