About the position
The Manager, Technical Product Management at McDonald's is responsible for end-to-end technology product delivery within the Global Technology Enterprise Products & Platforms (EPP) Team, focusing on Oracle Cloud ERP. This role involves leading and inspiring a team, managing product strategy and roadmap, and ensuring value delivery through collaboration with business stakeholders and technical teams. The position requires a strong understanding of financial management processes and the ability to drive product innovation while adhering to McDonald's standards and guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end technology product delivery and lead the working team.
- Define product strategy and roadmap in alignment with business goals.
- Manage mid/large teams including Sr. Technical Analysts, Business Analysts, developers, and Product QA Teams.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects to maintain and enhance the product.
- Drive market requirements and design solutions while resolving technical issues.
- Lead discussions with stakeholders on product management for incidents, requests, and enhancements.
- Review product documentation and ensure it is up to date.
- Validate user acceptance criteria and monitor SLAs/OKRs.
- Ensure compliance with McDonald's processes for incident and release management.
- Work with internal and external audit teams to implement application security and audit compliance.
- Define product vision and strategy in alignment with market trends and customer feedback.
- Gather requirements and prioritize feature development based on customer needs.
- Facilitate communication among cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on product priorities.
- Lead the product development process from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality releases.
- Monitor key performance indicators and iterate on features to optimize user engagement.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by soliciting feedback from stakeholders.
Requirements
- 8+ years of technical product management experience with a Bachelor's degree or 6+ years with a Master's degree.
- Full understanding of Oracle ERP Cloud Financials modules, specifically in Source to Pay and Acquire to Retire.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle ERP Cloud Financial modules.
- In-depth understanding of financial flows and business processes in financial management.
- Knowledge of Cloud information architecture patterns and software development processes.
- Experience managing functional and technical teams.
- Understanding of Cloud architecture and ERP cloud security.
- Proven analytical and quantitative skills to support decision-making.
