About the position

The Manager, Technical Product Management at McDonald's is responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of technology products within the Global Technology Enterprise Products & Platforms (EPP) Team, specifically focusing on Oracle Cloud ERP. This role involves developing product roadmaps, prioritizing backlogs, and ensuring alignment with business goals while managing cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that enhance the customer and employee experience.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end technology product delivery and lead the working team.
  • Develop product strategy and roadmap definition.
  • Apply deep product domain knowledge and partner closely with business and technical teams to ensure value delivery.
  • Lead and manage mid/large teams consisting of Sr. Technical Analysts, Business Analysts, developers, and Product QA Teams.
  • Work with Solution Architects to maintain, develop, and enhance the product.
  • Drive market requirements, design solutions, and assess technical issues with the team.
  • Lead discussions with stakeholders on product management for incidents, requests, development, enhancement, and testing.
  • Review product documentation and ensure all documentation is up to date.
  • Validate user acceptance criteria and follow the Jira life cycle ensuring SLAs/OKRs are monitored and met.
  • Ensure compliance with McDonald's processes regarding incident management, request management, problem management, and release management.
  • Follow data protection guidelines for sensitive personal data in accordance with McDonald's Data Governance standards.
  • Work with system integrators and audit teams to define and implement application security and audit compliance.
  • Manage or support a technology product or suite of products with business impact.
  • Work with business partners to define product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with business goals and market trends.
  • Gather and prioritize requirements from business stakeholders and translate them into actionable technical product requirements.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, design, quality assurance, and operations.
  • Lead the end-to-end product development process from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality releases.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and iterate on features to optimize user engagement and satisfaction.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by soliciting feedback from customers and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of technical product management or relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 6+ years relevant experience with a Master's degree.
  • Full understanding of Oracle ERP Cloud Financials modules, specifically in Source to Pay and Acquire to Retire modules.
  • Hands-on experience working with Oracle ERP Cloud Finance modules.
  • In-depth understanding of financial flows and business processes in financial management.
  • Knowledge of Cloud information architecture patterns, software development processes, and data processing methodologies.
  • Basic understanding of Oracle Applications FBDI templates to load data into Oracle Cloud Applications.
  • Experience in managing functional and technical teams.
  • Understanding of Cloud architecture and ERP cloud security.
  • End-to-end implementation and application maintenance experience.
