About the position

The Global Value and Access Lead for Oncology at Sanofi is responsible for developing and implementing the market access strategy for the Global Oncology franchise. This senior-level role involves overseeing the integration of product value propositions, pricing strategies, and ensuring that customer-facing affiliates are well-trained and resourced. The position requires collaboration across various functions to optimize business performance and manage payer channels effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Global Oncology Market Access & Pricing team and execute the payer strategy.
  • Manage the Oncology market access brand budget.
  • Provide input into brand strategy development for Oncology products as the market access expert.
  • Implement payer media plans supporting the Oncology strategic plan.
  • Align pricing and contracting strategies with profitability goals.
  • Collaborate with HEVA, medical, and R&D partners to inform clinical trial design and health economic activities.
  • Participate in product tollgate meetings for clinical development and funding.
  • Develop and communicate market access strategies and plans, articulating the brand's value story.
  • Identify gaps in market access understanding and develop plans for gaining payer insights.
  • Create a strong value communication platform to support access targets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of business experience in the pharmaceutical healthcare sector.
  • Minimum 5-7 years in global oncology market access/payer space.
  • Experience in payer/brand marketing and working with global payers.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead cross-functionally.
  • Deep understanding of specialty products, pricing, and payer dynamics.
  • Demonstrated experience in launching new products and identifying market trends.
  • Strong financial acumen, analytic skills, and critical thinking ability.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the US Oncology marketplace.
  • Understanding of HEOR drivers and ability to coordinate payer insights.
  • Working understanding of strategic pricing and commercial contracting.
