About the position

The Global Vendor Management Analyst at Bath & Body Works is an individual contributor role focused on supporting the development and strategic sourcing of Gifting and Accessories products. This position involves leading product categories, coordinating projects with cross-functional partners, and engaging with external contract manufacturers. The analyst will support product development, cost analysis, and initiatives aimed at achieving speed and cost savings, while also contributing to talent management and development within the team.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and negotiate vendor quotes for new business and communicate award decisions.
  • Analyze cost increase requests and communicate business impact.
  • Lead tooling expenses from external vendors.
  • Analyze and maintain standard costs with internal partners.
  • Validate final cost to target cost.
  • Maintain, extract, and analyze data in business IT systems.
  • Support development, implementation, and execution of Bath & Body Works Sourcing Strategies.
  • Assist in vendor setup and maintenance processes.
  • Maintain vendor profiles and capabilities.
  • Collect and follow up on information related to the RFQ process with vendors.
  • Support product commercialization workflow and Value Engineering project execution.
  • Lead category strategy analytical work.
  • Create and execute Individual Development Plans and Performance Objectives.
  • Identify continuous learning opportunities for personal development.
  • Participate in regular development meetings with peers and managers.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years' work experience in Purchasing, Operations Planning, Package/Supply Chain Engineering, and/or Strategic Sourcing positions.
  • Experience in manufacturing and/or consumer goods/retail preferred.
  • Validated discernment and ability to make recommendations and business decisions with supervisor.
  • System and computer proficiency.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with validated initiative to achieve results.
  • Ability to build and cultivate strong trusted advisor relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Bachelor's degree.
