About the position

The General Manager (GM) is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction, and leading a strong team in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a solid understanding of hotel management principles, effective leadership skills, and the ability to develop operational processes that maximize efficiency and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily hotel operations and ensure high levels of guest satisfaction.
• Lead and mentor staff to meet and exceed guest expectations.
• Develop and maintain effective operating and control processes.
• Prepare budgets and analyze profit and loss statements.
• Implement sales techniques and negotiate contracts to maximize revenue.
• Address and resolve guest complaints and issues promptly.
• Ensure adherence to hotel service standards and operational criteria.

Requirements

• Three or more years of experience as a General Manager, Assistant General Manager, or Director of Operations in a similar setting.
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management.
• Solid knowledge of hotel management and service standards.
• Strong leadership skills and experience in managing effective work teams.
• Ability to prepare budgets and analyze financial statements.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
