About the position

The General Manager of Restaurants at Nationals Park is responsible for ensuring exceptional guest service and maintaining high hospitality standards among team members. This role involves overseeing operations, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with safety and service guidelines while engaging in financial goals and promoting a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining positive guest relationships and obtaining regular feedback through table visits.
  • Training team members and conveying brand clarity through menu, wine, and beverage knowledge.
  • Promoting a positive work environment through effective hiring and team member engagement.
  • Ensuring compliance with state, federal, and business regulations, including responsible alcohol service and safety standards.
  • Engaging in the financial goals of the operation with support from the General Manager.
  • Employing good safety and sanitation practices.
  • Executing required daily reporting in a timely manner.
  • Executing inventory controls and ensuring adherence to Levy guidelines.
  • Ensuring all function setups and breakdowns are executed correctly and efficiently.
  • Holding team members accountable to steps of service for great guest service.
  • Providing team members with the necessary tools to complete their jobs.
  • Using performance management tools to provide guidance and feedback to team members.
  • Conducting regularly scheduled meetings to ensure open communication between management and team members.
  • Interviewing, hiring, training, and developing team members according to Levy guidelines.
  • Displaying a positive attitude towards team members.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a food and beverage operational position.
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management is preferred.
  • High level of computer literacy.
  • Passion for hospitality, food, and retail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
