As a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Back End development with a focus on Golang and AWS, you will be part of a dynamic and innovative team at Capital One. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the modernization of the Card Core Platform, which is a critical component of Capital One's services. Your work will involve building serverless, highly resilient microservices and developing cutting-edge features that enhance real-time intelligent experiences for premium customers. In this position, you will collaborate with Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions using a variety of full-stack development tools and technologies. You will be expected to stay abreast of the latest technology trends, experiment with new technologies, and actively participate in both internal and external technology communities. Mentoring fellow engineers will also be a key aspect of your role, as you share your knowledge and expertise with others in the engineering community. Your responsibilities will include working closely with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that empower millions of Americans financially. You will utilize a range of programming languages, including Java, Python, SQL, Node, Go, and Scala, as well as various database technologies such as Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases. Additionally, you will work with container orchestration services like Docker and Kubernetes, and leverage a variety of AWS tools and services to achieve your objectives.
