About The Position

GlobalLogic is seeking a Golang Developer to join our team in San Jose, California. This position focuses on software engineering with a strong emphasis on Go, Python, microservices, and Kubernetes, along with a good knowledge of block storage (CEPH). The role involves extensive experience with Kubernetes and related cloud-native technologies, as well as container networking and security within Kubernetes environments. The successful candidate will support and maintain existing systems, ensuring their reliability and performance, while also working on well-defined tasks under the direction of project leaders.

Requirements

• Experience in software engineering with a strong focus on Go, Python, microservices, and Kubernetes
• Extensive experience with Kubernetes and related cloud-native technologies
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field

Responsibilities

• Ability to work within a team and execute tasks under the direction of project leaders
• Contribute to the development of core product features and help accelerate the delivery of customer contract requirements
• Work extensively with cloud-native technologies such as Kubernetes, Go, Istio/Service mesh, microservices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, DevOps, and QA
• Document the design and implementation of new features and changes to the infrastructure
