About the position

GlobalLogic is seeking a software engineer with a strong focus on Go, Python, microservices, Kubernetes, and good knowledge of block storage (CEPH). The role involves supporting and maintaining existing systems, ensuring their reliability and performance, and working on smaller, well-defined tasks under the direction of project leaders while adhering to best practices and coding standards. The engineer will document the design and implementation of new features and changes to the infrastructure. The position is remote, with a salary range of $120,000 to $130,000 per year, reflecting base salary only.

Responsibilities

• Ability to work within a team and execute tasks under the direction of project leaders
• Contribute to the development of core product features and help accelerate the delivery of customer contract requirements
• Work extensively with cloud-native technologies such as Kubernetes, Go, Istio/Service mesh, microservices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, DevOps, and QA

Requirements

• Experience in software engineering with a strong focus on Go, Python, microservices, Kubernetes, and good knowledge of block storage (CEPH)
• Extensive experience with Kubernetes and related cloud-native technologies
• Experience with container networking, and security within Kubernetes environments
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
