About the position

The Golang Developer will be responsible for developing, maintaining, enhancing, and testing complex in-house applications. This role involves resolving critical data, system, and software issues in a production environment, contributing software development expertise to multiple projects, and ensuring adherence to established software development standards and procedures. The developer will actively participate in scrum events and follow DevOps procedures while evaluating new platforms and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, enhance, and test complex in-house applications.
• Investigate and resolve complex and critical data, system, and software issues in the production environment.
• Contribute software development expertise to multiple projects and ensure specifications are met.
• Conduct unit testing before releasing code to QA/UAT testing and perform code reviews.
• Follow established software development standards and procedures and contribute towards their improvement.
• Maintain and manage databases effectively.
• Actively participate in scrum events.
• Adhere to DevOps procedures.
• Evaluate new platforms, tools, and technologies.
• Design, develop, and maintain internal algorithms and tools for software development.

Requirements

• 5+ years of coding experience.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required.
• Experience in application development utilizing Golang (preferred), Java, or Python.
• Knowledge of REST API, design patterns, SQL/SQL Server, RDBMS concepts, Docker containers, and YAML file concepts.
